Watch the replay of our interview with Janet Horton here:
Our special guest for this interview is Janet Horton. Janet served in the United States Army for 28 years. Now retired, she was the first woman assigned as a Division or Corps Chaplain, as well as the first woman promoted to Colonel in the Army Chaplain Corps.
She was also the Christian Science Endorser and Trainer for The Mother Church for all military chaplains and trainees at Boston University School of Theology from 2006-2018. Author of Cracking the Camouflage Ceiling, a book about her experiences as one of the first women Army Chaplains. Inducted into the Army Women’s History Foundation Hall of Fame in 2019.
We are honored to have the opportunity to speak with Janet and learn about her groundbreaking work as a military Chaplain, and her perspectives as a Christian Scientist.
