About our guest:
Sister Mary Sean Hodges is a Dominican Sister at Mission San Jose in Los Angeles, California. Her re-entry ministry work has been featured in the Christian Science Monitor. After teaching school for 39 years, she embraced a calling to work with inmates, helping prepare them to successfully re-enter society. She founded the Partnership for Re-Entry Program (PREP) and also began the Francisco Homes to provide transition housing for lifers returning to the community. In addition, she worked with Pastor Joseph Hamilton to found the Martin Home. This program presently serves over 10,000 inmates in the prison system through self-help correspondence programs. She is an avid runner, having completed 33 marathons to date.
