Join us for a 1 1/2 hour Zoom workshop on Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at 6:00 pm (Pacific) with experienced Christian Science institutional visiting volunteer chaplains who will share their knowledge about how to get started.
We’ll discuss:
- What is a visiting chaplain or prison volunteer and why should I think about becoming one?
- How to connect with your State Institutional Committee (if you have one), and what to do if you don’t have one?
- How do I get into a prison and start visiting inmates?
- What are the steps to establish a Christian Science / Bible study group inside prison?
- How will this work bless you, your church, your community, and society at large?
- What are some useful metaphysical ideas for this work?
